Candidate View
From the candidate’s perspective, Flinkk Hire provides a simple and secure experience that centres on the interview itself. This section outlines the steps a candidate takes once they receive an invitation.
3.1 Joining an interview
- Receive invitation – Candidates are invited via email with a unique link to the interview. The email explains whether the interview will be AI‑driven or conducted by a human panel and includes the date, time and meeting link.
- Authenticate – When the candidate clicks the link they’re asked to confirm their email address or enter a one‑time password (OTP) to verify their identity. This ensures only authorised individuals can access the interview.
- ID verification (if enabled) – For AI interviews the platform may request a photo of an ID document and a selfie to verify the candidate’s identity. This is part of the anti‑impersonation checks built into the system.
3.2 Taking an AI interview
During an AI interview the candidate interacts with a virtual interviewer powered by large language models. The flow typically works as follows:
- Introduction – The AI greets the candidate and explains the structure of the interview (number of questions, time limits and scoring criteria).
- Question delivery – Questions are presented one at a time. Candidates respond aloud; their answers are transcribed and analysed in real time.
- Follow‑up prompts – If the AI determines more information is needed, it asks clarifying questions to probe deeper into the candidate’s experience and skills.
- Completion – At the end, candidates may be given the opportunity to add final comments or clarify any answers. They can also provide feedback about the interview experience.
3.3 Taking a manual interview
For manual interviews the process is similar, except candidates join a video call via the chosen platform (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc.). The invite link is included in the email. Interviewers conduct the session and record feedback in Flinkk Hire after the call.
3.4 After the interview
Candidates do not see their scores immediately. Interviewers evaluate responses and provide feedback (as described in the next section). Depending on the outcome, the recruiter may schedule additional interviews or send a rejection/offer email. Candidates are kept informed via email notifications.
